What changed

Fix the remaining Col-owned review findings and affected Solid previews while retaining each library's original stylesheet and the existing preview sandbox.

  • Preserve the MagicUI Solid Confetti sandbox disclosure when regenerating its plan.
  • Use the libraries' original avatar fallbacks when profile images have unverified redistribution permission; disable Corvu's invisible password-manager displacement in the three OTP previews so they fit the frame.
  • Restore MagicUI Solid Avatar Circles and Hero Video Dialog using clearly disclosed, attributed sample media. The video plays and closes inside the sandbox, and the previews do not request the omitted external media.
  • Make the RockSolid accordion's collapsed content inert, make chip deletion work with pointer, Enter, Space, Delete, and Backspace, and provide vertical tab semantics and keyboard navigation. Pinned upstream source snapshots are unchanged.
  • Correct TorchUI calendar-day boundaries and guard chart initialization and cleanup after unmount, in the compiled previews only. The original source snapshots and styles remain unchanged.
  • Reflow the TorchUI Mega Menu on narrow screens and let its original-styled panel scroll inside the sandbox.
  • Keep authored sample compositions and the original documented examples separately attributed in the regenerated catalog and evidence.

This PR targets codex/issue-69-stack-07 and follows https://git.cafe/collection-of-devs/col/pulls/79.

Verification

  • Node 24.22.1: npm test passed the production build and all 438 tests; the isolated worktree's temporary Turbopack root was restored afterward. Repository typecheck and isolated typechecks for the changed RockSolid, MagicUI Solid, and TorchUI Mega Menu examples passed.
  • Local Chromium, both light and dark, through standalone HTML and MCP Apps: all 76 MagicUI Solid previews, all 26 RockSolid previews, and all 37 previews in the changed SolidUI, shadcn-solid, and Zaidan groups passed.
  • The 56 previews in the three rebuilt TorchUI bundles passed in both themes and both formats (224 checks); date-range selection and chart canvas painting were verified. All eight directly changed TorchUI date and chart previews also passed at 390px in both themes.
  • All 20 previews in the rebuilt TorchUI menu bundle passed in both themes and formats. Menu links, touch-style activation, keyboard access, and scrolling passed at phone and tablet widths, including the breakpoint.
  • All nine previews in the rebuilt RockSolid chip bundle passed in both themes and both formats; chip activation was checked with pointer, Enter, Space, Delete, and Backspace.
  • All 13 directly changed previews passed at 390px in both themes. Accordion, tabs, chip, and video interactions also passed with reduced motion; OTP typing and simulated paste, avatar fallbacks, video playback and dismissal, and keyboard access were checked.
  • The seven repaired media previews passed in both themes with and without a host network CSP; no omitted external media was requested. The original compiled CSS hashes remain unchanged for every rebuilt library, and the sandbox remains allow-scripts allow-forms.
  • Source, build-evidence, discovery, and plan-regeneration checks passed. No new discovery routes or metadata files were required.
  • Diff is 55 files, 8,083,738 bytes of changed file contents, 3,748,702 packed Git bytes; the largest file is 857,035 bytes.
  • Screenshots of the original-styled sample previews are attached.

Findings about other pinned upstream-only variants remain upstream limitations rather than edits to the retained source snapshots.

RockSolid example behavior

Layer / File(s)Summary
Accordion, Chip, and Tabs behavior
data/solid-libraries/rocksolid/examples/items/{Accordion.tsx,Chip.tsx}, data/solid-libraries/rocksolid/examples/Tabs.tsx
Accordion panels use controlled state and collapsed accessibility attributes. Chip examples remove chips through pointer or keyboard actions. Vertical Tabs handle Up and Down navigation and stop Left and Right events.
Tabs registration and preview records
data/solid-libraries/rocksolid/{examples/RockExpanded2.tsx,build-manifest.json,provenance.json,README.md}, lib/solid-libraries.test.mjs
The Tabs example is registered in RockExpanded2. Preview descriptions and tests reflect the updated example behavior.

Solid preview adaptations and checks

Merge Risk: External image Minimal · up to 0e394

No merge-blocking behavior is established from the available evidence.

Security architecture risk: External image Low · up to 0e394

The restored player remains inside the existing sandbox and uses integrity-checked local media. No introduced security issue was established, but repeated-use and interrupted-playback behavior have only partial verification.

Retained concerns No architecture-level concerns identified.

Security review details

Security Blast Radius

  • inferred — The inspected media execution path remains within the component-preview frame. No additional host, credential, tenant, or service authority was identified along that path; this conclusion does not establish complete coverage of the generated preview payloads.

Trust Boundaries and Controls

  • observed — The component preview retains sandbox permissions allow-scripts and allow-forms without allow-same-origin. The app harness retains its outer allow-scripts sandbox. The inspected base-to-head comparison found no relaxation of these permissions for the restored player.

Resilience and Maintainability Implications

  • observed — The demo owns one player blob URL per mount and registers revocation on cleanup. The host removes superseded preview frames and checks generation and request identity around asynchronous media resolution, providing containment for interrupted previews.

Make the first chip’s delete action respond to button activation.

The first chip renders as a button, but Enter and Space invoke its empty onClick handler. They do not remove the chip. Delete works, but standard button activation should work too. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

Connect activation to removal, or expose a separate accessible delete control as for Chip 2.
