What changed

Part 5 of 7 of the Solid library stack. Retain the pinned source, documentation evidence, dependency records, and licenses for Nikala UI, MagicUI Solid, and Mystic UI. The integration stage activates these records.

This PR targets codex/issue-69-stack-04. The remaining stages complete the ten-library integration; git.cafe's linked stack is intended to land in order.

Type

  • New library

Verification

  • Reviewed the staged source and evidence for this layer.
  • The stage passed npm run typecheck on Node 24.22.1.
  • The assembled stack passed the production build and 428 tests on Node 24.22.1 before subsequent preview review fixes.
  • git diff --check passed; 135 changed files, 8,665,194 uncompressed bytes, and 1,544,095 packed Git bytes relative to the target branch. The largest changed file is 2,207,342 bytes.
  • This layer does not activate an interface; theme, mobile, keyboard, and screenshot checks apply to the final integration.

Related issue

Refs #69 — remaining stack stages provide the rest of the sources and the integration.

Full details: Title check

Explanation

The title "[5/7] Retain Nikala, MagicUI Solid, and Mystic source evidence" matches the main change. The PR adds pinned source records, documentation evidence, dependency manifests, licenses, and verification artifacts for the Nikala UI, MagicUI Solid, and Mystic UI libraries. The "[5/7]" prefix marks the stage in the stack and is not a file list. The title is specific and concise, so it describes the primary change.

Full details: Docstring Coverage

Explanation

Docstring coverage is 0.00% which is insufficient. The required threshold is 80.00%. Docstring coverage is scoped to functions touched by this diff with cyclomatic complexity of at least 2. Documentation-only edits and deletions within surviving functions are included; unchanged diff context and fully deleted functions are excluded. Analyzed 10 functions across 50 files. (68 skipped: 37 unsupported, 31 over the file limit.)

Resolution

Write docstrings for the functions missing them to satisfy the coverage threshold.

Add the missing solid-js entry to the Spotlight packages list.

packages for Spotlight lists only clsx and tailwind-merge. Every other entry in this file lists solid-js. dependencies.json (mystic-ui/Spotlight) and catalog.json both list solid-js for this component. The Spotlight demo is a Solid JSX component, so it needs the Solid runtime. A consumer that installs from examples.json packages will omit solid-js for this preview.

Fix the truncated description for Animated Beam.

The description stops at "Useful for showcasing the ". The upstream summary in catalog.json (Line 54) contains an escaped quoted word, \"integration\". The generator appears to cut the string at the first quote character. Any UI that renders this field shows a sentence that ends in the middle.

Correct the browser-verification scope.

browser-verification.json has actions: [] for every result and records no disposal outcome. The statement that this file records controls and disposal overstates the retained evidence. Remove those claims, or record the checks and their outcomes.

Restore the Mystic UI rebuild entrypoint before documenting this command.

data/solid-libraries/mystic-ui/README.md:19 presents npm exec -- node scripts/solid-libraries/mystic-ui.mjs as a runnable rebuild command. Fix the catalog summaries that describe a different component.

Line 932 gives the Section Heading entry a summary that describes a button: "A versatile interactive button component with multiple variants and sizes." This text looks copied from the Button page.

Line 66 gives the API Table entry a summary that is specific to the Button component's props. This one is less clearly wrong, because the page documents Button props. The line is still misleading as a catalog description.

catalog.json is website metadata, so users will see these strings. Replace both with descriptions taken from the pinned source pages.

Root-relative Pager links resolve to Col's origin inside the preview frame.

Clicking a Pager card in the preview navigates the frame to Col's own /docs/components/... path, not to Nikala's documentation. The demo mirrors the pinned upstream example, so changing its href values would diverge from that pinned source. Choose one of these fixes:

Give the PIN slots accessible names.

PinInputLabel renders a standalone <label>, and PinInputInput renders inputs without id, aria-label, or aria-labelledby. The root is a plain <div> without group semantics. A screen-reader user may encounter four unlabeled fields without the SMS-code prompt or slot position.

Add group semantics and a programmatic group label. Give each slot a distinct accessible name, such as “Digit 1 of 4”. Update the pinned component API if required.

This affects the interactive preview only. Classify it as a minor issue with a localized, high-value fix rather than a major, high-effort issue.
