Tags#

Open a repository's Tags tab to find a tagged version of its code. You need read access to the repository. The history icon opens Deletion activity.

Each row shows the tag name (linking to the file tree at that tag), whether the tag is annotated, the commit it points at (short hash linking to the commit page, plus its summary), and who committed it and when.

Type in the search box to filter tags by name. Pages hold up to 100 tags; use Previous and Next to move between them.

Open this page from the Tags tab in the repository header, or from the ref switcher on the Code and commit history pages ("View all tags").

Limits:

• Tag messages are not shown. A signed annotated tag shows a Verified or Unverified badge only when your instance provides signature verification.
• Tags cannot be created here. Eligible tags can be deleted with confirmation; deletion activity tracks the outcome.
