Design System — RS-BLACKROCK / RS-PALANTIR
Scope: the unified web application in apps/rs-palantir. This document does not change gameplay automation policy.
Product context
Players research the game economy and observe their teams. Blackrock's promise is economic intelligence: understand price movements, demand, observed supply and production economics, then follow the evidence. Palantir connects that research to the live world, swarms and separately reviewed commands.
Aesthetic direction
A compact research desk using the installed Whop Frosted components and functional dither charts. Preserve the visible RS-BLACKROCK and RS-PALANTIR mode names and logos. Real item sprites identify items; geometric placeholders do not replace them. Decoration belongs in meaningful data marks, not behind forms or tables.

Typography
Keep the installed Frosted / Inter system stack. Page titles 24–28px; section titles 16–20px; body and table values 13–14px; supporting metadata 11–12px. All GP and quantity columns use tabular numerals. Code keeps the existing monospace stack. Do not add remote fonts for this flow.
Color
Use Frosted/Radix semantic tokens. Current dark visual anchors: background #101113, panel #191b1f, raised surface #22252b, soft blue accent #a9c7ff. Implement with --gray-* and --accent-* tokens. Directional data uses labeled --green-11 and --red-11, missing/stale coverage uses gray/amber. Color alone cannot distinguish ownership, bid/ask, confidence or price direction. The app remains dark themed; this change does not establish a whole-app light mode.
Spacing and layout
4px base; normal group gaps 8/12/16/24px. Compact Exchange rows and optional comfortable density retain 44px touch controls. Tables align numeric columns and contain their horizontal scrolling.
Blackrock has seven primary destinations: Intelligence, Exchange, Watchlists, Bank holdings, Players & fleet, Production, Research & data. All eleven prior research URLs remain supported. Secondary tools appear within their parent destination. Desktop uses a collapsible 204px navigation rail, a flexible scrolling workspace and the existing optional assistant. At narrow workspace widths, navigation uses a labeled selector. Full item/player research occupies the main workspace, avoiding simultaneous competing inspectors. Back restores research results; mode switching preserves the mounted world and research workspace.
The home uses four/two/one question cards according to available workspace width. Research leads come from measured basket evidence, with exclusions and freshness visible. Detailed charts and methodology are expandable. Use existing component radii rather than introducing another radius system.
Interaction contracts
- Entry defaults to Economic intelligence; Teams & data allows a preferred Blackrock landing page. Explicit deep links win.
- Search items, players and saved swarms. Swarm search is limited to existing groups and explicitly reports its result limit.
- Item dossier tabs: Overview, Orders, Charts, Holders, Production, History. Orders are aggregate snapshots, not individual identified offers.
- Preserve a research trail through item → holder → Palantir → back. Preserve selected item tab in the trail.
- Exchange saved views retain query, order side, source rank, period, numeric/category filters, loaded-row sort, visible columns and density. Browser-local storage; up to 20 named views; same name replaces a view; removal leaves the current table unchanged.
- Assistant preparation is not sending. Context and source limitations remain visible; comparison uses an explicitly prepared assistant question.
- No ownership reassignment, trading or command execution is implied by research navigation.
- Fixed-basket changes are not global inflation. Listed commitments are not executions. Published bank previews are not total supply. Unknown remains unknown.
Bank goal workflow
Bank holdings leads from catalog autocomplete to an exact-item goal, proposed owned-account contributions and deliberate research handoffs. Saved searches retain query, filters, sorting and density locally; applying them reads previews again. Desktop previews expand inside the holder table; phones use a dismissible sheet. Search and relationship scopes stay pinned on desktop; phone filters collapse to preserve viewport space.
When planning, goal coverage leads and definition GP is secondary. Dither marks eligible proposed quantity divided by the goal, never a verified stock percentage. Friendly/public accounts cannot contribute as owned stock. Changed identity or preview evidence excludes a contribution until reviewed. All contributions need verification: public bank-save times and full inventory remain unknown. Draft allocations do not reserve or transfer stock. Shared accumulation targets require an explicit separate save/replace action.
Motion
Existing functional motion only. Avoid live-tick choreography. Respect reduced-motion preferences; data marks and evidence must remain readable without animation. No new continuous shader work is introduced by the home.
Decisions log
| Date | Decision | Rationale |
|---|---|---|
| 2026-10-26 | User chose “Economic Intelligence” | Organize around economic questions and evidence. |
| 2026-10-26 | User requested “FULL ON PRODUCTION” | Implement the proposed flow directly instead of a separate preview/approval round. |
| 2026-10-26 | Keep Frosted + dither | Preserve the approved visual components; improve hierarchy and navigation. |
| 2026-10-26 | Main-area dossier, one optional assistant | Implementation adaptation to prevent squeezed tables and duplicate sidebars. |
| 2026-10-26 | Browser-local saved views | Explicitly scoped preference storage; no new account sync or scheduled collection. |
Project settings
Settings is a shared top-level destination from both modes, with Project & fleet and API / CLI / MCP sections. Connect by previewing a local project before saving; show the actual connection state, account count, last scan and readable errors. Keep directory browsing distinct from account connection. A disconnected user can still use public research. No roster identity implies ownership or gameplay permissions.
