Problem

The Orchestrator MCP document claims eleven tools and omits the four existing recurring-task tools. Replaying the reporter’s read-only comparison on main finds seventeen registrations and none of the four names in the page.

Change

Replace the stale count with the authoritative toolkit reference and document scheduling, listing, pausing, and deleting recurring tasks. Identify the project toolkit registration for t3_thread_launch and explain the unsigned webhook URL trigger risk. Qualify thread-binding defaults and rejection of binding without a matching caller thread. Only this documentation page changes.

Scope and approval

Fixes #15670 GitCafe: https://git.cafe/pingdotgg/t3code/issues/15670 Triaged bug via the automated issue flow. This corrects existing documentation accuracy and discoverability without changing tools or runtime behavior. GitCafe mirror: #15670.

Verification

  • vp run check:changed: passed; scoped format check, with no code or manifest changes requiring tests, lint, knip, or typecheck.
  • git diff --check origin/main...HEAD: passed.
  • GPT-6.1-Sol and Claude Opus 5.5 independently reviewed the complete final diff and verified new claims and source links.
  • Revision-bound comparison transcript and replay script.

Fixture matrix is empty: no app render paths change. Screenshots, recordings, and pixel diffs do not apply. No wording tests were added. Runtime scheduling, desktop, and mobile behavior were not exercised; this is a documentation-only fix.

Implemented with Claude Opus 5.5 through the Claude Agent harness; triaged, reviewed, and verified with GPT-6.1-Sol through the Codex harness.

  • docs: clarify scheduled task thread binding defaults551f891

Corrected the binding paragraph in 551f891: the default requires a caller thread in the task’s project, and explicit binding without one is rejected. Verified against OrchestratorMcpService.scheduleTask; both fresh reviewers approve. Updated revision-bound evidence and scoped checks pass.
