Code of Conduct

Birdbrain's project spaces — issues, pull requests, discussions, and code review — exist to build an evidence-capture tool. Keep them usable for everyone.

Expectations

• Be respectful. Disagree with code and decisions, not with people.
• No harassment, personal attacks, slurs, or sustained hostility.
• No doxxing. Birdbrain is an OSINT tool; do not use this project's spaces to publish personal information about, or coordinate action against, any individual or group. Issue reproductions should use neutral example targets, not live investigation subjects.
• Stay on topic. Political, commercial, or off-topic campaigns do not belong here.

Scope

This applies to all project spaces in this repository and to anyone participating in them, maintainer included.

Enforcement

The maintainer moderates these spaces and may edit or delete comments, lock threads, decline contributions, and block repeat offenders — proportionate to the behavior, with a warning first except in severe cases (threats, doxxing, hate speech).

Reporting

• Private route: email the maintainer at the address published in SECURITY.md. Reports are read by the maintainer only and handled on a best-effort basis, usually within a week.
• If your concern is about the maintainer, or you prefer a route outside the project, use GitHub's report abuse process, which is handled by GitHub rather than by this project.

Reports are kept confidential to the extent reasonably possible; no report will be shared with the person reported without the reporter's consent, except where required to act on it.
