Thread transfer impact
⚠️ The latest CI run did not produce a thread transfer result for ef63066.

ChatView kept a thread's browser panel tabs and floating browser in sync with its preview sessions through two effects. useAgentOpenedPreviews found browsers an agent revealed by diffing session snapshots in a third effect, keeping a per-thread baseline in a ref. All three ran again after every render that changed sessions, panel surfaces, or the active thread.
previewStateStore now reports its own changes. onPreviewSessionsChanged fires when a thread's sessions or its list-loaded flag change. onServerTabsRevealed fires with server tabs that are freshly revealed. A tab counts as freshly revealed when it is new, or carries a new reveal request, after the first list has loaded. The first list is the baseline, so a reload never reopens previews the user dismissed. The listeners exist because the right-panel, mini-player, and settings stores cannot be imported from this store without an import cycle (noted in the code).components/preview/agentOpenedPreviews.ts subscribes once at startup (startAppServices in appInit.tsx). It reconciles browser panel tabs, closes a floating browser whose session ended, and floats a revealed tab (or focuses its existing panel tab when the reveal is forced).useAgentOpenedPreviews are deleted. That hook loses its previewState, serverBrowserAvailable, and panelSurfaces inputs.rightPanelState.surfaces or the active thread.github/main → working tree| package | effects | syncEffects | noDeps | chained | renderRefWrites |

Kept: the two device effects in useAgentOpenedPreviews. Device sessions come from a separate stream, and a later change moves them.
Render scenarios: ChatView renders in the covered "mount thread", "switch thread", and "stream turn" scenarios, and this removes effects from it. The numbers are left to the coordinator.

Verdict: Needs Human Approval
Macroscope's review found this PR requires human approval — Although titled as a refactor, this change moves preview synchronization into an app-lifetime service and changes user-visible browser tabs and floating previews from active-thread behavior to global, event-driven behavior. The cross-thread panel and reveal handling is broad enough to require human review.

The change moves server-tab reveal handling and preview-session reconciliation from component effects to an app-started service. The preview state store now publishes session-change and server-tab-reveal notifications. Tests cover notification, reveal, and reconciliation behavior.

| Title check | Passed | The title clearly and concisely describes the main refactor: moving browser panel tab synchronization out of ChatView effects. |
| Linked Issues check | Passed | Check skipped because no linked issues were found for this pull request. |
| Out of Scope Changes check | Passed | Check skipped because no linked issues were found for this pull request. |
Explanation
The description is detailed and maps well to the template's sections, but it does not follow the required template headings and it has gaps. It has Problem, Change, and Verification sections. It has no 'Scope and approval' section and no link to a triaged issue or maintainer-approved discussion, which the template requires for this kind of change. The Problem section states that no bug fix is claimed, so it does not describe a bug with expected behavior or reproduction steps. The Verification section lists focused test runs and results, and it discloses one unrelated failing test. It also says render metrics are pending. The author states the model used, which the template asks for. The description is largely complete on the technical content, but the approval linkage is missing and the Problem section does not fit the template's bug-oriented framing.
Resolution
Add a 'Scope and approval' section. Link the triaged issue or the discussion where a maintainer approved this direction and scope, and include the approval comment. If no prior approval exists, explain why this change qualifies for an exemption. The change is a refactor that the author says fixes no bug, so the approval path must be explicit. Rewrite the Problem section so it states the problem in a sentence or two, with expected behavior and any reproduction steps or environment. Keep the verification section, and state clearly which checks could not run. Note that the 'MessagesTimeline.browser.test.tsx' failure is unverified as unrelated. Mention whether the render metrics will be added before merge or in a follow-up PR.

apps/web/src/previewStateStore.ts:120-135🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick winReplay reveal metadata when the first list establishes the baseline.
If a forced
requestRevealevent arrives before the first preview list, the event stores the reveal metadata whilelistLoadedis false.freshlyRevealedServerTabsthen returns no notification. The later list setslistLoadedto true but does not replay the stored reveal. The browser therefore does not open or focus the revealed tab unless another reveal event arrives.Replay only reveal-bearing sessions that already existed before the baseline. Keep list-only sessions as the baseline.
