Gate desktop attachment after fallback selection.

When awaitAttached times out, createTab marks the snapshot headless and creates a server page. DesktopBrowserChannel still accepts an attachment after that timeout. The native renderer can therefore mount briefly beside the fallback page until the headless update unmounts it and queued cleanup closes the native tab. User input during this interval can remain only on the native page.

Treat the timeout decision as a per-tab attachment gate. Keep the existing successful attach path unchanged. A localized post-timeout attachment check or equivalent channel gate is sufficient; a broader authoritative-channel redesign is not warranted by this bounded race.

8Gate late desktop attachments per tab after the awaitAttached timeout and
9fallback selection, so a timed-out tab cannot accept a native renderer while its
10headless server page is active. Update the attachment check around
11DesktopBrowserChannel and the markHeadless flow, while preserving the existing
12successful attachment path and limiting the change to this localized race.

Not changing this. A channel gate would not shorten that window. The user sees and types into the native <webview> from the moment the renderer mounts it, not from the moment it attaches: ElectronBrowserHost.tsx mounts every tab that rendersServerTabNatively allows. After the timeout, markHeadless publishes the headless snapshot before createTab builds the headless page (ServerBrowser.ts:724), and the renderer unmounts the native page when that snapshot arrives. That is one event round trip. Blocking the attach would leave the webview on screen for the same time. Before this PR, the split lasted until the tab closed.

@t3dotgg Thanks for clarifying. I conflated channel attachment with native <webview> visibility. Blocking attachment would not unmount the webview sooner. The existing markHeadless update controls that transition and runs before fallback page creation.

I withdraw this finding. No channel gate is needed for the concern I raised.

5Learning: In apps/web/src/browser/ElectronBrowserHost.tsx, native server-tab webview visibility follows rendersServerTabNatively, not DesktopBrowserChannel attachment. Blocking channel attachment does not prevent the mounted webview from accepting user input. Evaluate native-versus-headless visibility through the renderer's snapshot gate rather than treating channel attachment as the visibility boundary.
