Problem. The maintainer wants a record of an idea for much later, with no date: two layouts for spaces and profiles that people can switch between.

Change. Two docs lines, no code:

  • docs/roadmap.md, under Later: today's layout (each profile in its own window, each profile with its own spaces) stays the default. A second, more Arc-like layout would use one window where each space picks a profile, the same one or a different one, so choosing a profile never opens a new window.
  • VISION.md, under Not planned for now: one bullet pointing at the roadmap entry.

Verified. Docs only. No patches touched, so net-diff hunks: 0.

Low Risk Documentation-only changes with no code, behavior, or release impact.

Overview Documents a future, optional second layout for spaces and profiles—no implementation and no timeline.

docs/roadmap.md (Later): Adds that users could eventually switch between today's shipped model (one window per profile, spaces per profile) and an Arc-like single-window model where each space selects a profile without opening a new window. The current layout stays the default until that exists.

VISION.md (Not planned for now): Adds a bullet that points readers to that roadmap entry so the idea is recorded without implying it's on the near-term plan.
