Discard asks the server again, as the account that was refused, right
before deleting: access back, an account change or a failed read
discards nothing and says why. It leaves changes being sent alone,
drops images only when the changes placing them went, counts images
waiting to upload as unsent work, and an upload discarded mid-request
cannot write itself back. Leaving with access gone still stops for
work that is not yet safely on this device.
