📝 Walkthrough

Walkthrough

The changes add a motion-catalogue skill and an Alexandria page. They update site navigation, responsive controls, and library cards. The background shader now renders through a texture-backed post-processing pass.

Changes

Motion Catalogue Skill

Layer / File(s)Summary
Motion workload guidance
.agents/skills/motion-catalogue/SKILL.md
Adds skill metadata, activation triggers, related skills, and workload guidance for selecting motion, animation, 3D, and media-generation tools.

Alexandria Page

Layer / File(s)Summary
Alexandria page content
app/Alexandria/page.tsx
Adds a branded page with selected library cards, shelf imagery, collection and documentation links, and hostnames without a leading www..

Site Navigation and Library Browsing

Layer / File(s)Summary
Site pages and shared navigation
app/contributors/page.tsx, app/docs/layout.tsx, app/libraries/page.tsx, app/not-found.tsx, components/Header.tsx, components/ThemeToggle.tsx, app/globals.css
Updates the contributor grid, adds shared footers and a 404 page, adds a Contributors navigation link outside the landing page, and changes keyboard shortcut handling. Shared styles and the theme toggle receive sizing and presentation updates.
Mobile documentation and filter controls
components/DocsSidebar.tsx, components/FilterBar.tsx, app/globals.css
Adds mobile toggles for the documentation sidebar and advanced filters. Responsive styles control panel visibility and filter layout.
Library results and saved cards
components/DirectoryExplorer.tsx, components/LibraryCard.tsx
Updates result counts and saved-library empty-state text. Save buttons receive new styling and minimum dimensions; cards show a count for stacks beyond the first three.

Background Shader Rendering

Layer / File(s)Summary
Shader constants and attribution
components/ScreenShader.tsx, components/LibraryExplorer.tsx, components/shader-parity.test.mjs
Changes shader constants and attribution. The library credit always identifies screendev. A test checks numeric constant parity with ScreendevShader.
Framebuffer post-processing
components/ScreenShader.tsx
Renders the field to a scene texture, applies a pixelation post-processing shader, and draws the result to the canvas. The new WebGL resources are resized and cleaned up.

Merge Risk: 🔵 Low · up to 2928f

The remaining issues affect guidance and an uncommon shader failure path, rather than ordinary browsing. The PR is mergeable with owner awareness and follow-up.

Security Architecture Review

Security architecture risk: 🔵 Low · up to 2928f

The new showcase appears to present curated catalog content without adding a privileged operation. The graphics update can leave browser graphics resources allocated if initialization fails; the observed impact is local to a visitor’s browser.

Retained concerns

  • Low · reliability · observed: Partial initialization of the new post-processing pipeline can leave created WebGL objects without explicit cleanup when a later creation or compilation step fails. This is a browser-local failure-containment concern, not an established security exploit.
Security review details

Security Blast Radius

  • inferred — The identified shader failure affects resources in the visitor’s browser context; the inspected path provides no evidence of server, tenant, or credential exposure.

Trust Boundaries and Controls

  • observed — The new public catalog page uses fixed selections rather than request-derived identifiers; no authentication transition or privileged sink was found in the inspected route.

Resilience and Maintainability Implications

  • observed — Initialization exceptions precede registration of the shader release callback, whereas the established animation lifecycle supplies cleanup after successful initialization.

Hardening Proposals

  • proposed — Give each created WebGL object explicit cleanup ownership throughout initialization, including when a subsequent creation or compilation step fails.

I’m a rabbit with a library card,
I hop through shelves of motion and art.
A tiny screen gets pixels anew,
A stack count tells me what’s in view.
I tap, I browse, then thump with delight,
And tuck these fresh changes in tonight.

The existing release callback cannot clean those objects. Add exception cleanup for setup, and make `compile` and `attach` delete partially created programs and shaders when they throw. The framebuffer completeness failure follows a different path.
