[Bug]: unable to switch to build mode on opencode#7716

Steps to reproduce

  1. Start a session with opencode.
  2. Chat for a bit until: ]0;insert your macos username here: ready build appears as the first option for agent mode (normally build vs plan). (I've been unsuccessful in finding an actual repro)
  3. Try to send a new message with that mode.Image

I've been using Hy3 Free and 5.6 Luna, probably up-stream provider agnostic.

Expected behavior

It should just show build and plan. This is probably something to do with parsing something wrong somewhere.

Actual behavior

It instead shows a jarbled bit of text and errors whenever you try to use build mode. ]0;heinrich: ready build

Workaround

Restart the application over and over until it returns to normal.

Thanks for the detailed report. This looks like the same issue tracked in issue #7754.

The exact broken build-agent value contains the OSC title fragment ready build. Issue 7754 documents the same stdout escape leak, failed agent selection, and persisted polluted value, with a more complete reproduction. This is not the separate plan-mode filter or custom-agent enumeration issue.

I'm closing this as a duplicate as part of an automated pass on all open issues. I linked this report from issue #7754 so its extra details remain available. This does not mean the underlying bug is fixed.
