Before submitting

  • I searched existing issues and did not find a duplicate.
  • I included enough detail to reproduce or investigate the problem.

Area

apps/web

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open a pull request you can edit (for example, one you authored) whose description has a task list, such as a "Test plan" with - [ ] item lines.
  2. Open it in T3 Code and go to its Summary tab.
  3. Click a checkbox (web or desktop) or tap it (mobile).

Expected behavior

As on github.com, the box is ticked and the description is saved. Viewers who can't edit the description still see read-only boxes.

Actual behavior

Nothing happens. On web and desktop the checkboxes are drawn disabled; on mobile a tap does nothing.

The Summary tab renders the description without the checkbox toggle that ChatMarkdown already has for Markdown file previews, so the boxes stay disabled. On mobile the renderer's toggle is off (enableTaskListItemToggle={false}).

Impact

Minor bug or occasional failure

Version or commit

Desktop 0.1.6 (Beta); still present on main @ 47f2c8d29e

Environment

macOS 27.0.1, T3 Code desktop app; also seen in the web app

Workaround

Use "Edit description" and change [ ] to [x] by hand, or tick the box on github.com.

I have a fix ready for web, desktop and mobile and will open a PR linked to this issue.
