Confirming this on 0.1.6-nightly.20261030.3917 (desktop client on macOS arm64, connected to a remote Linux x64 server, Claude provider). It is still present on main, where ChatView.tsx ~L3604 passes isSendBusy through in queued-edit mode.
Runtime evidence (server trace + projections, UTC):
01:21:02.705message.dispatch/compactwithidleCompaction: "onReturn"→ run 16 (running)01:21:02.853message.dispatchwith the user's message → run 17,queued01:21:02→01:22:11noqueued-run.editcommand reached the server. Other commands on the same per-thread serial key (thread.visitevery ~10s) dispatched normally, so the client command queue was healthy. The save was never attempted: the button was disabled.01:22:11.390run 16 completed;01:22:11.645run 17 started with the original text
User-visible behaviour matched the report: Edit on the queued message → change text → send button spins and nothing happens → after compaction, the original text is sent and the edit is not applied.
