Confirming this behavior with Codex reset credits redeemed directly inside T3 Code’s Usage screen.
What happened: I encountered this twice. A Codex session hit its usage limit and T3 displayed a future automatic continuation time. I redeemed an available reset through T3’s Usage screen. Allowance became available again, but the waiting thread did not resume until I sent another message.
Version/environment: T3 Code Desktop 0.1.4-nightly.20261029.3853, local server on macOS arm64. An earlier occurrence was also on a nightly; that version is unknown.
Reproduction: Exhaust Codex allowance during a session, leave auto-resume armed, then redeem a reset through T3’s Usage screen before the announced deadline. The thread remains paused despite restored capacity.
Source evidence: At installed commit 783581d461dc72cdd8f78fc8abb4ad536dfc4547, UsageLimitRecoveryWorker rejects continuation while the original reset timestamp remains in the future. The redemption path refreshes provider limits without dispatching a continuation.
This is user-reported behavior corroborated by source inspection; no controlled reproduction was performed during triage.
Workaround: Manually send a continuation after redeeming the reset.
