Follow the KDE HIG text guidelines: labels that open a dialog or report progress end with "…" (U+2026) instead of three periods, the provider search placeholder drops its ellipsis, and the empty popup heading drops its trailing period. Translations are updated in place so they keep matching.

update_translations.sh now keeps the xgettext header and strips it afterwards: with --omit-header xgettext silently dropped non-ASCII characters from msgids.
