proto: build the optimizer graph from an arbitrary chain list

Throwaway prototype for wayfinder ticket #4. One catalogue registry keyed by
effect type, a VariableChain module that slices one flat tensor per instance,
and scenarios run through the real CLAPAdapter with only its chain class
swapped. Not merged; linked from the ticket.
