End a waiting page switch's transition when the session closes or reopens

A switch that gives way to a closed or reopened strategy leaves its
prepared transition alone, so its frozen copy of the old page stayed
over the canvas. Closing (reset) and opening (initializeForStrategy)
the session already supersede any waiting switch; now they end its
transition too.
