Drop stale pages; follow a removal until it finishes

Show more could append a page asked for before the list reloaded,
skipping or repeating people. A disable that removes more people than
one batch left them on screen; the dialog now reads again until they
are gone, showing "Removing people…" meanwhile. Pages use the server's
cursor.
