Keep a lineup save safe when its dialog is taken down from outside

Leaving an editor whose access is gone pops the dialogs above it, past
the lineup dialog's PopScope. Its save then resumes with the dialog gone:
it now stops without touching ref, and only ever pops its own route, so
it can't close the warning that replaced it.
