Narrow the panel to 240px and cut top-stack chrome: sort-by select plus a
compact sort-order icon toggle on one row (was two stacked selects), library
tools hidden in cloud mode instead of rendering three permanently disabled
buttons, and the duplicate Home entry removed (cloud root lives under Views).

Folder tree gets chevron expand/collapse with a 180ms easeOutCubic reveal,
auto-expanding to the selected folder and force-expanding during search.
Rows are tighter (34px, 16px icons), gain a hover background, and the row
menu button now tracks menu-open state instead of a 500ms hover-exit timer.
